Albee Baby ?

Albee has a good deal on the Britax Blvd car seat. I am guessing they are phasing out this specific pattern but I am concerned the car seat was manufactured awhile back. Do you know if this is typical of Albee Baby? I am hesitant to purchase it not knowing the maufacturing date.

You can always call and ask them when it was manufactured; I've had pretty good luck with their customer service.

I called and they are closed. I will try again tomorrow. I just thought I would ask here to see if anyone had any experience with them.

I've used them before for a couple purchases and always been happy.  They are a pretty popular and legitimate site.  Yes, all the current Britax models are being phased out right now and they are replacing their entire line.  There will be a lot of great Britax deals in the next few weeks.  But my guess is that the date of manufacture is sometime in the last year.  Albee baby does have a pretty good reputation that I am aware of.

I ordered our snugride from them before C was born and it was fine. It was not an older model, the date of manufacture was less than a year before we bought it. They do have great customer service and the carseat box arrived in perfect condition (I was worried about having it shipped).

Not sure of manufacturer date. But, I have ordered from them on several occasions. We got both Britax, high chair and stroller from there. They really do have the best pricing and usually free shipping. And, it's super fast shipping, like they ship the next day via Fed ex.

I'm kindof annoyed with them at the moment. Their return system sucks. I brought a maclaren thinking it was a new one and it turned out to be a January 2008 recalled one which I would have had to call maclaren to fix the recall that was issued on the stroller. I probably should have found out the manufacturing date before getting it but I figured for the price there was no way it was an older version. Learned my lesson. I returned it june 21st (received it june 19th) by ups and still haven't gotten my refund for it. So just make sure it's the exact one you want before buying so you don't have to do any returns.

We bought our Boulevard in the Sutton pattern when it went on clearance last year for 189. When I called just to make sure of the manufactured date they gave it to me and told me they were discontinuing that pattern.

I called and the manufacturing date was 2010. I am excited. I think I got a pretty good deal. Woot!

We bought a Britax Marathon and a Dutalier Glider (on clearance) from them and it was about $475 total--I think shipping was free--and both were fine.
