cloth wipes

I have been cloth diapering but have yet to venture into the cloth wipe world.  What do you use?  How do you wet them?  Do you just toss them in your wetbag or pail with the diapers?

I use a mixture of Gerber and Circo washcloths and also some I've made.  I prefer the ones I made because they're thicker and a little bigger.  I use plain water.  Toss them in the pail with the diapers.

I wet them w/ water. I keep a spray bottle near my diapers and wipes that I just spray directly on the wipe or Addy's bottom.

 

I am a BIG fan of these Flannel/Sherpa wipes I got on auction on Hyena Cart. They are similar to the ones made here:

 I have BG wipes that I ordered w/ my BG OS diapers and I hate them. They are thin and crinkle up too much in the wash. they tend to get stuck to the velcro of my diapers too which doesn't happen w/ anything else.

I also have a mix of Gerber and Circo washcloths.  I've been using the California Baby Diaper Area Wash spray.  It smells pretty, but when it's gone I might just refill the bottle with plain old water.

I just toss them straight into the wetbag with the diapers and wash them all together.

i just use fleece. i cut up squares and store them in a water-tight container that i got at walmart for 5 bucks.  i use a tiny bit of baby wash and water for wipes solution!  sooo cheap

At home I wet them in the bathroom sink and have them ready next to the clean diaper when I wrestle my son to the changing pad.

Out and about, we have a spray bottle in the diaper bag, or if we are in a store, etc with an easily accessible sink, I just use that.

The wipes go right into the wetbag along with the dirty diapers. They wash really well.

I didnt think wipes to become an addiction like diapers....but those are adorable!

I have some that my mama made. they're 2 pieces or cotton velour serged together. I LOVE them. They're so soft and they kind of grab all the poop off his butt. Even for the most explosive poops I only need 1. I don't wet them. I tried it and hated it. I just toss them in the diaper pail and wash them with my dipes.
