Why do I EVER go over there?  I just ended up getting upset.

So happy to have 3T.

Re: TTGP

  • I think my fave on the first page is the twins post.  Especially the girl that said the best way to have twins is IVF - since she knew two people who are KU with twins after IVF.  As if that is an optional procedure.  WTF!

  • (hugs) I had to stop going there too.

  • That is the girl who has me SO upset.  She made a comment last night that maybe someone with 6k+ posts shouldn't judge how other people spend there time.  Totally piissed me off.  Like I am happy that I have had a year to rack up that many posts?!  But that does not mean I do not have a life.

Then her IVF comment sent me over the edge.  I just need to stay over here obviously.

  • Sorry if I was the cause of your upset by saying something.  I haven't been posting there much anymore because I was tired of the drama, trolls and immature people (not all of you for those who may be lurking) but I decided to glance today and although I don't usually say anything, it really hit me the wrong way.

Hey luv!  I just responded to you over there, but no worries.  I've seen several of her posts in the last day and she's totally not worth getting upset over.  For someone making comments like that, I sure have seen a looooot of her posts in the last day or two.

  • I gotta say, this is the most amazing board i've ever found. Ive seen a few and lurk here and there on a few but by far this is the most drama free andmost supportive group around. We are all here (unfortunately) for the same cause and i think are bonded more because of it. I can't take the drama of people who are 3 dpo like OMG i think im preggo b/c my boobs hurt. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Totally agree!  I sometimes lurk, but I don't really know anyone over there, and all the questions are the same, etc.  Love this board, although sad we all have to be here :(

  • Ugh, I hate it over there.  I go maybe once a week.  I wish I still had their optimism (and also some of their luck!)

To update you: Had my follie check today (day 14) and there was nothing (one 12, the rest under 8). I go back Friday to see if there is any progress.  So frustrated!  I asked her what she wanted to do if there wasn't any progress again and she suggested prometrium and a new cycle of injects.  I said I wanted to try injects this cycle because if I ovulate, it will be late again, (it was probably around day 25/26 last time after they cancelled the cycle) and she said we'll see. Friday is a Dr. in the practice I've never seen before, so we definitely will see!

Shoot that is frustrating but hopefully the 12mm keeps growing for you!  Did you see if maybe you could take some extra clomid for a couple of days?  That helped mine grow from 9mm to 17mm.

I think I will being doing injects next cycle too so we can be first cycle of injects buddies.

Let me know how Friday goes!  I hope you like the doctor you see!

I'll definitely ask about the Clomid or injects route.   I really would hate to cancel this cycle, I feel like that's all I've been doing lately! And since I ovulate not at all or soooo late, the cycles are a million times longer. How long was your cycle last time?  I can't remember. And when are you triggering again?

  • I find myself spending more time over here and less on TTGP.  Even though I'm just beginning IF treatment and have not gone through a fraction of what many of you gals have, I am beginning to feel at home here and drama-weary there.

Ummm well last cycle was super wonky.  I started taking prometerium since I hadn't responded at all and then never got AF so they did a progesterone test and it turned out I did end up ovulate sometime during or after the prometerium.  It was pretty crazy.  I think my cycle ended up being 35 days so not too terribly long but I am sure we had horrible timing since I didn't even think I was ovulating.

I am hoping to trigger tomorrow night!  I have another u/s in the morning.

I hope your doc lets you do some more meds or that your progress more on your own so that this cycle isn't a waste!!!

  • I asked because literally the same exact thing happened to me last cycle.  Cancelled for no response, then Prometrium, no AF, and surprise!  I actually had ovulated late. Wasn't charting or OPK-ing b/c of the cancelled cycle, so horrible timing.  The cycle was 39 days, so sometime 25/26. I told you we we have similar stories, right?  lol.

GL tomorrow for trigger and I'll be rooting for you!!
