Update: to telling my team member (boss-like guy)

I had my review this morning (which went great)... And I let HR/Mgr know she was super excited for me.

So I thought I would just email my boss/team member and let him know so he wasn't the last to know.  And he actually called from Scotland to congratulate me.. Which I was very surprised at.. He has no idea what to say, so he goes "well lets just keep you healthy now"  Um ok..

I told him that it meant alot to me to call..

So all is well here.. Thanks for the advice..

So glad everything worked out for the best. Amazing surprise he called from Scotland but shows he might have an ounce on kindness hidden deep down inside.

That was very thoughtful of him to call and congratulation you.  That's one less thing to stress about.  YEAH!!  Doesn't it make it more official/real once you tell people at work?!  Enjoy it!

awwwww!  So maybe he is less of an a hole, and more just a ... well, a man! Im glad you got it out too Liz! Now you can rub the belly while at work, and not feel awkward.  We waited to tell work for 11 weeks, and all i wanted to do was rub my baby lol
