Anyone change LO's nursey into a toddler room??

How did your LO react to the change?  I started to change N's room and he's been a mess the past few nights.  He keeps looking around and pointing to areas where there use to be something.  He hasn't taken a nap in the "new room" yet and it took me over an hour to get him down to sleep last night.  I'm going to finish up this room this weekend and then start on the nursey for baby #2.  Is this too much for him or will he adjust quickly?
