Just got back from RE appt. Like I said yesterday, it was the first time MH came with me and that was almost a disaster. He's notoriously late for everything and I ended up leaving without him this morning. He met me there about 30 secs before they called us in. Disaster averted!
The appt went well. We'll be moving onto IUI and upping to 150 mg Clomid because I'm only producing 1-2 mature follies on 100 mg. I asked her about the dietary recommendations (re: post started by InlovewithB? yesterday). She does recommend a low carb diet, even during medicated cycles, but that's because I have PCOS. I didn't really pay attention to that during first 3 cycles, so I'm hoping that makes a difference. We're also considering accupuncture. Have any of you tried that and what was your experience? I guess I should also ask that question over at SAIF. That's all from me for now. Thanks for listening and have a great day!
Re: Back from RE and F/U to convo yesterday
I am glad you asked about the Low Carb diet! I hope this cycle works for you.
Food Tips: I have found that it is easiest to take food with me everywhere I go. I was told to eat every 2 to 3 hours. I have been making egg whites for breakfast every AM, taking fruit for my first snack, leftover chicken or fish and a a veggie for lunch, and Greek Yogurt or Cheese for my afternoon snack. Most condiments are full of HFCornSyrup, but the "Organic Alternatives" seem to pass all the tests (No corn products and nothing ending in -ose). I have been using just balsamic vinager and a garlic infused olive oil for salad dressing.
