As of yesterday, not good:(. Her brain is still swollen so she's totally out of it. She didn't wake up yesterday in the 2 hours we were there. The doctor said that today we'll have a better idea of what's going to happen because usually you have to wait 48 hours when brains swell. So we're hoping that she starts improving today. But even if her brain starts to go back to normal and the blood starts absorbing there's no guarantee that she'll be able to function (a big part of it is because she's older and the healing process is much more difficult for her brain/body). The doctor said she isn't in pain as far as the broken ribs, arm, and pelvis though, so that's one good thing.
Thanks so much for your concern. Hopefully I'll have a better update later on.
Unfortunately she's the same today. Still unresponsive and her brain is still swollen. They had to do a procedure on her veins so that if she gets any blood clots (from just laying there) they won't get to her heart. Two of her kids showed up to "take responsibility" finally and the other is flying down next week. FIL must be watching down on them in disgust. But w/e at least they showed up:/.

Oh poor thing. I hope the swelling starts going down real soon. I will continue to keep her in my T&P's.
