frequent nosebleeds?

I assume it's because of the dry heat of the desert, but does anyone have any tips for preventing nosebleeds in LO? I mean, I know about the humidifier at night. But is there anything else I can do to prevent it?

When we lived in AZ we had to run it 24/7! At night wasn't enough. Our DOG even got them!

stick a q-tip in vaseline and rub it around inside her nostril-it keeps it more moist.  i do it to myself whenever the weather changes.  once or twice a day is enough.
