Okay looks like the doctors feel that my son's labs look good enough to start him on the medicine to close his PDA. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are going to go slow and give him the meds over a course of 5 days and then on Saturday check his heart again.
Oh God please let this do the trick. He is such a strong little boy and I'm so grateful every day.
Today I got to put on a new hat purchased by his godmother. It's a preemie hat and it makes him look a little bit like LL Cool J from the "Going back to Cali" video....so I started to sing to him...."going back to cali..." it gave the nurses and my H a good chuckle. And Elijah opened his eyes. He looked happy, but I"m wondering if he was giving me side eye
Thanks for your well wishes girls.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that the meds work.
Onward and upward!

Both of my boys needed the meds to close theirs and it worked so I hope that helps ease your worries some!
If his doctors feel confident that this will work, then I wouldn't even think about surgery as an option!
Good luck! I hope everything works out as planned!
