Talk to me about evap lines

I have been red spotting since Sunday (11 dpo).  AF is due tomorrow.  RE told me to test today.  I did and it was BFN and I left it on the counter.  I went to throw it away an hour later and there is a pink evap line.  It is super light, but it is pink.

 I am sure being 14 dpiui and with red spotting, that I am officially out.  But, in the 20 months of TTC, I have never seen a grey evap line, let alone a pink one.  Test was an IC- pink line test strip.

 Anyone have experience with evaps?

Only grey ones. I've had a heart in the throat disappearing pink line though which sucked pretty bad. How long after you took it did you see the BFN and leave it? i.e. could it maybe have turned pink before the 10 minutes were up and you just didn't see soon enough? The only way to know obviously is to retake, but hopefully it wasn't an evap. GL

Tons...and most of mine were pink...the only gray ones I have ever seen were on expired FRERs.

Is it dark enough to PIP?

I can't get a clear picture on my camera of either line (camera bites).

 Test still has faint pink line 7 hrs later.  I read it after 3 minutes and then threw it on the counter and walked away.  Because of the red spotting, I am sure I am out, but have never seen an evap before and wondered if this is one.

Sounds promising since it was pink and it was 14dpiui.  But, I would take another one tomorrow morning.  I took a test at 12dpiui and there was a super faint pink line, which I just figured was an evap line since I could barely see it.  But, sure enough, a few days later, it was def a positive.
