Why I love my midwife!

So here is one more reason I love my MW practice.  I am coming up on 41 weeks preggers with narry a sign of labor in sight.  At last weeks appt they told me that if I have not delivered by the end of this week then they want me to have a non stress test to make sure baby is ok in there.  The receptionest was going to set up that appt and give me a call.  I had not heard anything so I called this morning to find out what was up.  Come to find out that the place they use for the non stress test does not take my insurance so they will not give me an appt because they don't want to risk me not paying.  This is the same hospital where I am going to deliver, but I guess because the non stress test is not medically necisary they won't cover it.  So she was going to try the hospital that is in network, do some research and call me back.  I get a call from her this afternoon and they have come up with a plan .  I am to call the answering service on Friday after 4 (after the place doing the NST closes) and the MW on call is going to meet me at L&D and do it herself.  Gurilla Midwifery!  I love these people!

The other option is to go into labor, but it seems that this baby is not ready for all that!
