Urinary Tract Infection in 1st Tri?

Did any of you have a urinary tract infection in the 1st trimester of your pregnancy?  If so, did your doctor put you on medication or tell you to do anything else?  I have had miscarriages in the past and am worried about taking any medication and am just wondering if you were given something and what effect (if any) that had on your baby, your pregnancy, etc?  Thank you so much.

I got one early in my pregnancy and they prescribed an antibiotic.  It never fully went away or I kept getting one so they put me on a low dose of Macrobid for the rest of the pregnancy and everything was fine with me and the baby.  I also had group B strep so that may have had something to do with me having the constant UTI's but it went away after delivery.  Hope that helps!!
