I am switching positions at my job next monday (ugh) and I don't want to tell my new boss that I am KU yet (I want to wait to at least 8 weeks)... Hopefully he isn't mad since I will only be in his group for about 9 mos., until I have the baby.
When are you guys planning on telling your boss??

#2 due July 19th! (It's a boy!)
I will tell a week before my second appt. Last time, I told shortly after my first appt. since one of my cw's called me out, lol. It's going to become pretty obvious when I have to leave for an appt. every month so I'll tell right before my second one. That will get me to about 10-11 weeks.

Day Three
I told my boss already. Yesterday actually. He's very excited. With the way I've been feeling lately (gross, tired, etc.), I really needed his support. Besides, it will be pretty obvious within the next couple weeks, and he'll notice anyway. I work in a very small office-right now because it's summer, it's just my boss and me.
He actually said "I noticed that you were breaking out really bad, I knew something was up" Thanks boss!
ha ha, that is too funny that your boss said that to you!
this. we do our yearly reviews sometime in september so i think i want to tell him around then. i dont think it will effect my raise or workload but there will be some problems if they want me to travel. that will have to wait until like next summer. but if i tell him before the review then we can work my goals around my pregnancy.

I told my boss right away, we are all nurses so it's kinda hard to hide the pregnancy for women like that...they know all! Plus there is only a few of us at the office and she's more like a friend and I felt since I'll be going to my share of doctors appointments and having bouts of morning sickness I really didn't want to have to make up excuses to why i was missing/late for work at times. I did tell her she had to keep her mouth shut or I'd jump her in the parking lot
I plan to wait until I reach the 12 week mark, unless something comes up that I am absolutely essential to that needs to be scheduled during the April-May time period.
12 weeks is when my co-workers have announced in the past. Ironically, we have one woman on my team out right now on maternity leave and she will get back right around my 12 week time period. And we have the same first name.
Since I'm a teacher, I haven't seen my boss in a while. I did tell her, though, because we're having some student drama (student is in a court case and wants me to testify for him) and I want to avoid the situation because of extra stress to me and the baby.
I've already told 2 other co-workers, so I wanted to tell my boss too. She know's it's early, but she was happy.

Uhh...that's illegal to ask you that question.
I've already told my bosses. We work in a family practice, and I am also a patient as well as a nurse, so I think it would have eventually gotten out when I was having HCGs! lol
They are very excited for me though! Everyone keeps rubbing my belly and saying, "Good luck, little tadpole!"
I'm a teacher, so luckily I haven't seen my boss.
My first appointment is actually on the afternoon of the 2nd day of school. It's going to be really hard to not spill the beans to some of my co-workers. They knew DH and I were trying, so I'm sure they'll pounce on me as soon as they see me! I don't want anyone at work to know until after that first appointment, though. I'll be 9 weeks along then.
I accidentally spilled the beans to my assistant, but that is ok because she had to know something was up. I am essentially worthless at work right now between the exhaustion and the M/S. I am debating telling my boss this week. My first apt. isn't until the 29th, but my work isn't quite up to par and I feel like I owe him an explination! I am usually very detailed and I am just not myself. I don't want him to think I can't handle my new position. Tricky...
