We just switched back to cloth diapers...we're using Fuzzibunz & Urban Fluff now (I was using prefolds before).

DH just did a load of dirty diapers and they still smell like urine. Any suggestions?

We washed them with the cold/hot/cold in a high water level with the Arm & Hammer free & clear detergent like I always used to use with prefolds. The bottle says it's safe for CD's.

Try a capful of vinegar with the rinse cycle in the begining.

Trying adding a squirt of Dawn in the wash.  You can also put them out in the sun and that tends to help with the smell a bit.

Yep!

I add about 1 cup of vinegar to my wash when I am having a smell issue.

If they still smell like pee you may not be using enough detergent.  I always thought pee smell out of the wash meant they weren't getting clean, and ammonia smell after being peed in meant they weren't getting rinsed out (in which case vinegar in the rinse is a common remedy).
