DH told me the ending and then just made me watch the video... it was definitely a bit surprising but I didn't think it was THAT horrible. I'm not a fan of how "Americanized" its become w/ the story and Leona Lewis and all, but ya know, can't help that I guess...

The thing I hate is that you can't even freaking max out the crystarium before fighting the final boss.  And you can't beat the missions until then either.  It's annoying that you'd be able to go back and do all that WITH fang and vanille when you've seen the ending and they're gone.

Just SO dumb.

They should have done it 1 of 2 ways, let you max out and finish sidequests before the final boss and then be done with it after the credits, no opportunity to go back and do sidequests after OR do it the way they did it and then take Fang and Vanille out of finishing up missions, etc.

Ohhhh I thought you meant you just disliked the ending movie. You are talking about game play!  DH said they probably didn't want you to max out your character so it'd be harder, and yes he agrees that it was stupid and very annoying. haha He just showed me the movie because he let his buddy borrow the actual game.

Ahhhh ok.  We had spent so much time maxing out our characters before the final bosses that it was pretty easy, I got it all on the first try.

The final movie was pretty darn awesome!
