Just wondering how everything is going with adjusting to the news about all of Katelyn's allergies? Have you been able to make the adjustments to your diet without too much trouble? I'm so sorry that you have to go through all of that, but thank goodness you found out about that when you did! Just wanted to know I'm thinking about you.

That is so sweet of you! We are adjusting ok. I have now cut out dairy, soy, wheat, legumes, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, fish and shellfish, and it is getting easier. I went to a nutritionist last week and she gave me ideas for what to eat. She mentioned that I should look at my prenatal vitamin to make sure it didn't have dairy or soy in it, and it did have soy. I had no idea! So now I am on the hunt for a new vitamin.
We also have discovered that she is *highly* allergic to my parent's dog and is probably pretty allergic to ours too. She tested positive to dogs at 3 months old, but the allergist said it was mild and that we didn't need to get rid of our dog. We think her allergy has changed since then and we may need to get rid of her now. I can't cope with that right now. That dog is my other child.
Thanks again for asking!
Oh man, it's never-ending! Did the doctor say if there's any chance that she'll outgrow these allergies? I imagine the stress of adjusting to all of these dietary changes is stressful, but it sounds like you're rolling with the punches!
