Would this irritate you?

My dh forgot to tell me that my sil is coming in town w/ her 2 boys and dog today. I got a phone call 2 hours ago from my sil saying I am half way there. I asked her what do you mean and she told she was coming to stay at my house for a week and that my dh has known about it for 2 weeks. Its not that fact that she is coming that irritated me it is the fact that my dh didnt tell me so I can have my house clean and prepared for guest. Today is my laundry day so I have piles of laundry all around and my house is not so clean. Well she just got here and my dh and her are going to take the kids swimming and I just finished making dinner and instead of people eating they are going swimming and letting my food get cold. And another thing my sil could have stayed at her grandma house. They have an extra bedroom but she wanted to stay here because of our pool. Keep in mind there are already 6 of us in the house with a dog and a cat and are place is not that big. Am I just being a baby about it or would this irritate you to.

omg! That's crazy. I would be more than irritated. How can you "forget" to tell your wife something that big. Sure, I would of let them stay but I would be p!ssed at my dh for not giving me notice. Sorry!

Yikes! I'd tell them there is no place for them to stay because DH will be sleeping on the couch.

Someone bringing their dog to my house is enough to irritate me. They wouldn't get past the front door.

I would be irritated with both my husband and the situation. Sounds like you're upset by both as well. Have a talk with your husband and let him know (as nicely as you can) that the next time there's a visitor coming, family or otherwise, to let you know the minute plans are finalized. Not saying a word is NOT COOL. AT ALL.
