I'm posting from my phone so I apologize for the giant paragraph! I don't have m/s but I have no appetite. It's not that food sounds bad or grosses me out I'm just not hungry. Since I don't have m/s I can easily skip meals and not have any physical side effects.
I think the loss of appetite is due to the stress this SCH is causing me and all the drama I had from it a few weeks ago. I feel guilty because I know I need to eat for the baby but when there is a plate if food in front of me I can only eat a few bites. I didn't have this issue with my past pregnancies. I'm still seeing my RE due to the SCH and I'm still on 2 forms of estrogen and 2 forms of progesterone. I'm not sure if those could cause a loss of appetite? My first OB appt. isn't until 12 weeks and I don't have another RE appt for a week and a half. I think I'm going to call the RE nurse tomorrow.
Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions?

Re: No appetite? (long)
I had no appetite either and also had terrible indigestion, so when I ate I got VERY full VERY fast. Just make sure that everything you do eat is good. I started every day with an apple and in the afternoon I would have a granola bar (nature valley aren't loaded with garbage) and those were my snacks. With dinner I would eat as much of the protein as I could but finish the vegetables. Lunch was pretty iffy. Breakfast was whatever appealed to me - usually toast or a bran muffin.
I was worried too. I had planned to watch calories and weigh myself often because I was afraid of GD and it ended up I had to watch everything to make sure I was eating enough. It worked out completely fine and the baby's growth was perfect at every appointment.
I'm sorry hon.
Try to eat little healthy snacks every couple of hours instead of larger meals. GL

I barely ate anything until after 21/22 weeks. I was constantly sick until about 8/9 weeks (zofran around the clock) and then I just couldn't really eat anything except for small portions of mac and cheese or cheese and crackers. Even once I wanted to eat, I couldn't eat much because by then, my stomach was getting pushed out of the way. I only gained 17 pounds when I was pregnant and lost somewhere between 30 and 35 pounds by the time I left the hospital.
Your body will adjust to take care of the baby. Just eat what you can when you can and try not to worry about it too much.
I haven't had much of an appetite lately. First, it is so hot. Second, Paige and DH were both sick last week and that caused me a lot of stress. I don't deal well with things like that! I couldn't even think about eating when my baby was throwing up and my DH was at the ER, ya know? Then we had some long, awful flights coming home from vacation...well it all adds up to me losing 4 pounds in 9 days. : (
I am trying to just force myself to sit down and eat. My rule is now - anytime Paige is in her high chair eating, I have to eat something. Even if it is just a handful of strawberries or a slice of cheese...it makes me eat.
DH also reminds me to have a snack before bedtime.
I know most people complain from gaining too much during pregnancy but it is just as stressful when you don't feel like you are eating enough!! Good luck!
