PICU and NICU?

Would a baby who went BACK to the hospital when they were 5 months old be in the NICU or PICU?

    our hospital you would be in the PICU, once you leave the NICU and are discharged from this unit, you are never back in(usually)

    My friend is a nurse in the pediatric ER and they send kids off all ages to the PICU.

    But it would also depend on what is going on, they may be on a regular peds floor, not an ICU.

    I'm pretty sure he was in the PICU.  He had a seizure and a bleed in his brain. He was in a coma for a couple of weeks... I'm assuming that would be PICU worthy. I'm trying to get them a "I Survived the PICU" or "PICU Graduate" tee but I'm only finding tees for the NICU.  Btw, he just went home after spending 6 months in the hospital, which is why I wanted to send them a gift.  They were originally told that he'd wouldn't survive so this is HUGE!  He's also not showing any signs of brain damage right now!
