Cluster feeding -- how long does it last?

I feel so lucky that G is doing such a great job with breastfeeding.  His latch has been perfect from day 1 and my supply seems to be great.  But for the past 3 nights he has been cluster feeding pretty much constantly from 4am-9/10am and my nipples feel like they're going to fall off!!

Please tell me this is going to be a short phase!

I honestly can't remember how long it lasted for B, but she did it later in the morning and again in the evening. Vibes that he stops soon, or that your nips get used to it!

Kiki goes in and out with the cluster feeding.  And I really think this is part of the reason that she sleeps so well.  So I hope you get the same results that I do.  Lots of feeding and lots of sleep!

I remember G did a lot of cluster feeding at 2 weeks old and than again at about a month old....It will get better, and your poor nips will eventually not hurt at all...I never thought that was possible lol, but I would say it took a good 2 months for them to stop hurting with me.....
