DS is not circumcised.  Tonight when I was bathing him I noticed the tip of his penis was a bit red on the foreskin.  I called DH over and he said it looked irritated...

Last night on our way home from MIL's he screamed like he has never screamed before, and even today he was crankier than normal.  I attributed his crankiness to being up late at MIL's while dh and I had our date night and the all out screaming on the way home due to being up past his bed time.  Now I'm second guessing myself.  He did play today like normal and there wasn't any abnormal behavior... however, he barely peed all day but made up for it this evening. 

Has anyone ever dealt with something like this?  If it's still red in the morning, wwyd?  Would you wait until Monday and call the pedi if it's still red?  Oh, and he doesn't have a fever.

My DS is not circumcised and his penis looked like what you are describing yesterday.  I just threw some diaper rash cream on it and it went away.  He never acted like it hurt or anything and I blamed it on him being mobile and it rubbing against the diaper.

If he isn't running a temp and it isn't constant it might just be the weather being so warm and things getting sweaty in the diaper.  Maybe some air time and maybe powder or barrier cream to help?  Neither of my boys are circumcised either.
