Plus this:
1 yard each of Bamboo velour, terry, and fleece. 1 yard of knit mint giraffes, 1 yard of later gator, and one yard of knit fall ooga.

Should be made into....what? I need ideas. I have a TON of wipes already cut out of another fabric so I dont really want to do those. I have never sewed a diaper before and I am not sure I can. What do you think a good first project for a serger would be, after cloth wipes of course?
Re: PIP: Sewers...I need ideas!
fitted diapers are really not that hard. If you are afraid of elastic, the easiest thing is to sew a casing and insert the elastic through it then secure. I prefer this to using an elastic stitch along the elastic anyway.
or you could do contours
receiving or swaddling blankies
bassinet sheets
burp rags
changing pad cover
crib rial teething cover
There are a number of simple patterns for fitteds out there.
Or you could make some unpaper towels, or nursing pads....
I am jealous of your serger.
Ha dont be. It would probably be better used with you. I am not a great sewer. Can you suggest a pattern for simple fitteds? I have done elastic on longies before but I have never done it without a casing type of thing.
