Spotting Pre-O

Ladies, anyone else ever have spotting a few days before they ovulate?  It's happened to me now for four cycles, along with some cramping.  My doctor (former) said that it could just be a drop in estrogen and brushed it off...but I'm skeptical.  It's only happened the last four times out of 15 cycles.

I'm not too concerned, but do wonder what it is.

    Yep!

    I'm rusty on all the details from TCOYF but looking back through my cycles, I spotted pre-O almost every time.

    ETA - and by "pre-O", I mean like 5-7 days prior.

    Ever since I had Evan, I have spotting right around ovulation for about 2 days or so.  I've been told it's an indicator of a strong ovulation...or it could be related to the changing hormones as you're about to ovulate.

    Oooooo, I like this.  I'm saying it's because I'm a strong ovulator...makes me sound super fertile (which I'm pretty sure isn't true...cycle 15, ah-hem).  Still, I love it.
