Diaper pail?

For those of you with a diaper pail, what do you use and what liner do you have for it?

I am thinking of just using a large wetbag for downstairs (where we will have a PNP and some diapers for changing when we're downstairs), but I'd like a pail and liner for upstairs. Just curious what you all use.

TIA!

Re: Diaper pail?

  • I have a standard 13 g plastic trash can with a flip up lid. I made one PUL pail liner, and I also have a Bummis tote - I think it is a LG, but could be an XL, I'm not positive.  If you want a stand-alone hanging wetbag for downstairs, I don't recommend those totes. The drawstring doesn't close tight enough to keep a toddler out or to contain really strong odors. Something that snaps or zips shut would be better in that situation.

  • I have a white plastic 10-gallon trash can with a step lid that my mom got at Target.  I have two Wahmmies pail liners (to have one when the other is in the laundry).  Has worked great for a year and a half, no complaints!
  • I have 2 planet wise wet pail liners. One extra for when the first is in the wash. I just use a press open top garbage can. works great!
