grr new dipes leaked

so i just got my 3 new fuzzibunz yesterday that i bought off spots corner.  i just had DS in one of the a little bit ago and the dang thing leaked (or i guess it was maybe wicking??)  the outside was wet around the legs (i had to go change my pants because he was sitting on my lap).

i don't know if the dang things are just screwed up or if there's nothing wrong with him and he just really peed that much.  the soaker pad was pretty wet.

do you think a different insert would help?  i ordered some hemp fabric and zorb to make some more inserts but of course it's not here yet.

How long was he in it?  Is it the OS or sized?  DId you have the FB microfiber insert in or something different?  And yeah, sounds more like wicking than leaking which is normally because the insert is soaked or because his clothing was too close/tight or got caught in the diaper.

he was in it for maybe a couple hours if even that.  they're the sized version and i was just using the MF insert that came with it because that's all i have for now until i get my fabric (i'm too cheap for pay alot for something i can just make myself).  when i pulled the insert out it was soaked so if that's just the problem then i'm not as ticked because i can just either double up or change out the insert (and "yell" at DH because i asked him to check his diaper about 30 min before that and he told me it was fine....i'm going with it was wet, just not wet enough for him to be bothered to grab a new dipe)

If the insert was soaked then that is definitely the problem.  I generally change every 2-3 hours and wouldn't expect a diaper to last longer than that.  I think if you change a bit more often you won't have a problem!

ya, i normally change him that often.  i guess he just ate alot more than normal this morning, i usually don't have a problem.
