Mineral oil for lubrication?!

I am on 100mg of Clomid and am going to take my Ovidrel trigger shot tomorrow...Clomid takes away all of my cervical mucus...what do you recommend for a lubricant?  My specialist said I could use a drop of mineral oil...have any of you used it?  Thank you!

I haven't used mineral oil, but my doc told me to try olive oil.
