So we have an appointment with Dr. Newby at the Landmark location.  Shauna, Dr. Franklin isn't accepting new patients.  But, the appointment isn't until August 13th.  Does it normally take this long to get in for well-check appointments or is this just a fluke because it's back to school season?  How quick do they usually get you in for sick visits?

I've never had to wait long for an appointment. For sick visits they have always gotten us in that day (but occasionally with a different doctor).

I'm fine with it having to be with a different doctor for sick visits.  I'm glad to hear that it's rare to wait that long for well checks.  Maybe it is vacation mixed with back to school physicals.  No biggie, just wanted to make sure it was normal, which it sounds like it is for this time of year.  The sick visits are more important since you usually have plenty of notice for the well checks.
