Huh... I type Case into the top but I guess it didn't show up. It is case like brief case, not cass like gas. It is for a boy too... should have mentioned that, lol!

It's there--I don't think anyone read the text above the poll: )
I think you really only have two options to spell this phonetically: Kase or Case. I voted for the former, only because case is an actual word. You cannot spell it with an "ss" ending--phonetically, that ending is pronounced "a$$" so, not the sound you're going for.

I completely agree with you! It's odd though because of the word "bass". It can be said either way: bass as in the fish or bass as in the bass clarinet. BUT... people would assume that Cass or Kass was said with a short a sound. I don't want my kid called Cass the a$$!

well, if it HAD to be four letters then my vote would be Case, or Kase because that looks the closest tho a lot of ppl will still say Casey because ppl are doing that now with names that have a Y sound at the end, just ended it with E like Jesse, and Alle i have seen it often. if four letters isn't a thing tho i personally would go for

Caese
Kaese
Cayse
Cayce
Cays or something like that.
It is a possible nickname for Caswell which is said Cazwell. It was my grandfather's name. I think it would need to start with a C but I was wondering what other people though. I never thought of using 5 letters, but it is a good idea Thanks!

NMS, but I picked Cace, just because it's similar to Case and I think it would be pronounced correctly. The options with a K make me think of the Kardashians, and I think it sounds a little girly.

Case is perfectly fine. No need to completly f the name up by getting cre8tive like the above poster suggests. Horrible!
Re: How would you spell..
I think it would get mistaken a lot for Casey...no matter how you spell it.
I am not understanding the name you are wanting to spell.
Case- I read as the pp said: brief case
Cass-I also read as a ryhme to gas
Kase.
FI knows a girl named Kasie and she goes by Kase. I think she even posts on here so she might see this.

ETA: Sorry, three spellings: Kace works, too.

CASE- this name is gonna get people confused if you try to "dress it up" its a simple name I think you should let it be.
My names Kassie if you spell it Kass/Cass people will probably think your DS is a DD, using Kass/Cass short for Cassandra/Kassandraor Kassie/Cassie.
I say keep it simple and spell it the way it sounds which to me is CASE.
