AW: Pottytraining

I'm almost afraid to say this but I'm just so thrilled that I have to share. Ethan said on Friday that he needed to go potty, so I took him, we did high fives, and I decided to let him wear underwear after that. For the next two days, I set a timer and took him to the potty every 45 minutes. He never resisted and had a few accidents during those days, but it seemed to go pretty well. Then on Monday, I stopped setting the timer and since then, he has not had a single accident and has woken up for 3 days with a dry diaper.

WTH!?! I was all geared up for a terrible potty training experience based on so many stories of boys being hard. But it has been a breeze! If you're fearing potty training your boy, maybe you'll get lucky and experience something similar.

Ahem, and I just bought another box of diapers.

Whoo hoo!! I'm hoping we've broken the poo-boycott at our house because G's gone poo on the pot two days in a row. 

Now if I could only get her to TELL me when she has to go instead of making my deductions based on farts.

  Wow for you!!!  I hope to have some success stories to post on here soon, but I don't think HC is there juuuust yet, what with all we have going on in our lives.  Enh.  Congrats to Ethan; that's fabulous!
