At what age did you start?  How did you go about finding a good one?

We started when Aaron was about 4 months old.  All the babies are around the same age and I found it on meetup.com

We still hang out all the time!

We started when dd was 4 months old.  The play group was through the hospital I delivered at and I signed up for it while I was in the hospital.  They  put moms that delivered around the same time and lived in the same area together.  The group lasted for 6 months and had 10 moms.  When it ended 7 of us decided to continue to meet.  We get together every Wednesday at one of our houses, a park, the zoo, the mall, etc.

I signed up at meetup.com and found a mom's group around my area. I started around 5 months. It's a very active group so we have activities every week.

I started one around 4 months.  I found it on meetup.com.  The kids were all older so it wasn't a great fit even though I liked the moms.  Then when she was 7 months I found the locals moms club and there were babies of all ages, a lot her age and they had activities everyday.  I found that on momsclub.org.

I started around 10 months.  I found them through my Mothers of Multiples club.

A local site (trianglemommies.com) - they have a calendar with stuff every day and different age and geographic groups.

I just now joined a group, and I'm so bummed I didn't find it sooner. The ladies in my group are awesome and it's so fun to have activities to do with DD or with  just the mommies. I also found my group on meetup.com. Good luck!

laura&dan- Great idea for the hospital to match you up.  I would love to find moms with babies around the same age.
