Tips for flying with an 8 month old?

We fly out tomorrow early morning for Ft. Lauderdale.  We've flown with her before when she was 7 weeks old. Now, it's a whole different story!

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks girls!!

  • We took DD to Costa Rica when she was 8 months - and honestly that was the easiest flight we ever took with her!  Bring a few of her favorite things, lots of snacks (cheerios, etc), and if she is interested yet a portable DVD player.

  • OH - something I forgot . . .

Bring a large changing pad for when you need to change her diaper!  I have never been on a plane that had a changing table.  So the only place to do it is on your seat!

  • Ohh...good ideas girls!! Thank you!!! I've bought 2 new toys for her and am on way to go to BRU to buy her favorite Baby Einstein Video (my mom has it in VHS..need to get it on DVD). I will definitely bring bags for diapers, lots of clothes, and snacks.  I'm crossing my fingers! She's a really good baby overall, so I'm sure it will be fine.

Have fun and good luck on your trip kchoi!

  • I have nothing to contribute but wanted to say, have fun! Hope she keeps the squealing and farting to a minimum. Hee hee :)
