So I haven't spotted at all up until monday (right at 9 weeks). I had a little bit of spotting monday, and then yesterday when I wiped I had a decent amount of bright red blood. I freaked out and went to my REs. He wasn't in but I was able to get an U/S and speak with the nurse. The baby looked fine and they weren't sure what the cause of the spotting was.
Today I am having even more bright red spotting. My RE is still out of town so I called my OBGYN to see if I can get in with her to do an internal exam today. I'm not supposed to see her until the 19th, but her nurse said she'd talk with her and see if they could squeeze me in or if she thought I should go to the ER. So now I am sitting here, panicking waiting for the nurse to call me back.
Re: Spotting hell

Oh gosh I am sorry. I am spotting today too
I did a poll on another board and about 50% with healthy babies said they had spotting during their first tri. Some even in the second tri.
HTH. Will be thinking of you.
Spotting is so scary hon. But it is a very good sign that your u/s looked good yesterday. Try to focus on that. I hope you get some answers soon. Sending T&Ps to you and your LO.
(((hugs)))
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Yeah, I probably won't go to the ER if that's the only option. Its not like anything can really be done at this point to save a pregnancy, but if I'm going to M/C I would prefer to here it from my ob or RE.
TTC #1 - May 2010 - IUI #3: BFP
TTC #2 - May 2012 -IUI #2: BFP
i had bright red spotting at 7 and 8wks and it was due to a SCH - hematoma. Last pregnancy I had pink spotting at 11wks and they never could find out why but I think it also was a SCH.
thinking of you!
take it easy and just stay down until it stops. that is what I did. I hope they can find out why.
I'm sorry, spotting is so scary, but I bet everything is ok. I was bleeding on Friday and everything looked great!! Sometimes it just happens.
Praying everything is ok!

Thankful for every day
I had a ton of bright red bleeding and cramping at 7w and went to the ER. They couldn't find the source but did give me an u/s so we saw the baby was fine. The next day my RE dx with a SCH. My bleeding turned to brown spotting and stopped for 5 days and picked back up on Monday night and I've been spotting brown ever since. I had an u/s again today and the baby still looks good.
It's horrible and very scary to see any kind of spotting when your pg. I hope the nurse calls you back and you can get in for another u/s to help ease your mind!
