co-sleeping ?

My LO sleeps with us (15 months old) and with another baby on the way, I was wondering if any of you dealt with a newborn in your room (not necessarily in your bed) and them waking up your LO throughout the night. DS#1 will not sleep in his crib, but STTN in our bed.. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has dealt with this type of situation. If you have, PLEASE HELP! TIA!

    My only advice is start to try to train him to sleep in his crib.  My DS is sleeping in his own crib and I can't imagine how he would sleep through my LO's crying in the middle of the night.  Eventually your son will have to sleep on his own and its best to do it earlier than later.  It may take a little while for him to get used to his crib, but in the long run it will be much better for when the new LO gets here.     We have #1 (24 months) sleeping in her crib mattress on the floor (after having slept on our bed)  in our room and #2 (4)in an Arm's Reach CoSleeper.  Very rarely do they wake each other up. So far it's been working out really well.
