back from vaca and now a mess...

Hi Ladies,

Looking for some advice, suggestions or anything about what to do.  We were just on vacation with our 4month old which involved flying and changing time zones.  Because of this my once happy, would nap just fine baby is now only wanting to be held and wants a bottle in his mouth to fall asleep.  I'm not sure what to do. I feel awful, we try to put him down for naps whether its his crib or swing and he just screams (even if he's JUST had 5-6oz of formula).  I feel awful and know that this probably is a result of feeding him often on the flight to keep him happy and of family members holding him the entire week. 

 Has anyone else experienced this??  We've tried a modified cry-it-out with closer check-ins and nothing is working...I feel so bad for my tired baby.

uh, I would probably just hold him and help him to sleep until he settles back into normal routine/life
