KiKi is so sad

She's been crying all day.  Like screaming.  Not her usual soft, baby cry.  More of a hurting scream.  :(

It is so sad.

It just took me over an hour to get her to sleep.  It NEVER takes me that long.

I am wondering if she is cutting teeth, officially.  I got my first tooth at 3 months, 3 weeks.  Timm got his around 5 months.  She has been drooling for at least 6 weeks now.  And chewing on her dresses, blankets, and fists.

If it is her teeth, I hope they come in soon.  Poor little Kikimonster.

Re: KiKi is so sad

  • Im sorry Ashley. M has been drooling for months and we have yet to see any teeth, despite fits of crying like that. Right now we are dealing with sever constipation so I feel your pain. I hope she feels better soon.

  • aw, poor KiKi :(  have you tried the Hyland's teething tablets?  Those seemed to help G.
  • I haven't tried anything yet because I am not sure what's wrong.  I am guessing it is a tooth thing just because it is hereditary and we both got teeth early.

But she is pooping, peeing, and eating regularly.  She has a temp of 99 degrees.  So not quite a fever.

I will get those tablets though, can I get them from Target?  I have to go there tomorrow for more diaper genie bags too.  boo.  If not, where do I get them from? Thanks!

ETA - I just looked on the Target website...they have them.  I will be picking htem up tomorrow.  Thanks

  • Oh no, Lib.  I hope M feels better soon.  Poor little man!  Sending him poo vibes too!
  • Poor thing! i hope she feels better soon!

  • I would have never in a million years tried this....but my pedi said that he thinks it is safer and more effective than anything on the market...ALCOHOL!!!

He said he trusts it more because it is all natural- any grain alcohol will do- whiskey, vodka, etc.  We just dip our finger in the Stoli (once) and rub it on the gums.  Seems to help!

  • Poor girl!  I hope she starts feeling better soon for her sake and yours!
  • Awww, poor Kiki! I hope tablets help.  Have you tried letting her suck on ice chips?  You can put them in the little mesh feeders.  You can also try chill apple chunks in mesh feeders and let her gnaw on that.  A friend of mine swore by that.

C, your pediatrician is old school, I love it. People keep telling me to do that, I am afraid to do it. I knew a lady in Mexico that gave her baby whisky in a bottle, I wish they had CPS there.
