And got in trouble with my OB. My OB kindly reminded me that I should only gain 25-35 pounds during the entire pregnancy and then pointed out that since my last visit 4 weeks ago I've gained 9 pounds... Oops! I drink 64 to 96 oz of water a day. I eat a bowl of cereal or have a bagel or bagel sandwhich for breakfast. A sandwhich and a small bag of Sun Chips for lunch... and by the time dinner comes around I have a small meal because I'm really not that hungry or really up for eating. I guess I need to incorporate more walking into my daily or weekly routine.
Re: Um, I've already gained half my pregnancy weight...
My midwife told me if I'm a few pounds over the 35 mark, she's not going to worry. She said she won't start to worry until I get 40+ because that's when I could have issues with blood pressure, etc.

People gain weight differently in pregnancy, and it bugs me when OBs harp on this issue. I feel like it's more responsible to ask you what you're eating than to just pass judgment based on lbs gained. You're certainly not eating very much, but your description is a little vague in terms of the content. A bagel sandwich (or a regular sandwich) can be very light and healthy, or it can be very fatty and unhealthy, depending on its components, KWIM? My point is, just try to be as healthy as you can, and don't worry about the scale, no matter what your OB says.
Bagel sandwiches: scrambled egg and cheese. Sandwich: turkey breast and cheese on wheat with a little light mayo. Maybe too much cheese? LOL.
Thanks for the reassurance. It's one thing when the weight comments come from other people, but coming from your own OB is another.
