Here are four names that DH and I cant decide between. The first two are for girls and the second two are for a boy. I know that they are a little different, but I have a different name and I prefer a different name...

the girl names seem kind of pretentious... just my opinon..

Just a warning: My younger brother has a 22-year-old friend, a girl, named Campbell. She's gone through her entire life being called "Soup." Some people don't even know her real name, but we had a conversation about it once and she told me, as soon as she tells anyone her name, they immediately say, "Oh, like the soup?" And so many people started calling her Soup without warning or after just saying, "Can I call you Soup?" that, even though she doesn't like it very much, she gave up. I imagine the same thing will happen to anyone named Campbell.

I think Carrigan would be more girly then Carrington..its sound so..weird, for a girl. I don't mean to be rude but if that was my name I wouldn't be happy with it.

I like Carter for a boy.

The girl names seem really waspy and dated to me -- like names of prepsters in the 80s.

I like Harrison; it would have been on our list but it wouldn't work with our last name.  Carter I don't like.

The poll needs to be split, so we can vote for girls and boys. That said, the only name on there I like was Harrison, so it worked out for me.

I love Carter. We still don't know if we're having a boy or a girl, but hubs already hates Carter. Doubt I'll be able to get him to agree to it.

I prefer Kerrington to Carrington. Wasn't there a Kerrington on So You Think You Can Dance once season?

The only one I like is Carter. I don't like Carrington or Campbell at all.

I know girls named Carrington and Campbell, so I actually think they're both kind of cute.

Out of your boy names, I actually like Andrew the most! If you are against using Andrew as the first name though, I like Harrison a bit more than Carter.

Carrington is my midwife's name - so I have a positive association.
