i want to get a lens hood and a uv protector for my camera, but have NO idea which one to get.  any recs?

hey you! Your lens hood and uv filter are unique to each lens you have. So for example, if you have the kit lens, (the 18-55mm) you will order a lens hood and filter specific to that lens. Same goes for the 50mm lens and so on.

Any brand is pretty much fine...and yes, we are having another boy! I am having a hard pregnancy again and on full bed rest, so not fun!

How are you? I can't believe how big your boys are!

thanks for the help!  crazy you're having another boy-congrats though!  it will be so much fun for b&b, but craziness for you!  i'm good...ryan just turned 3 and max 10 months...where in the world does the time go? i look at his newborn pics (which i'm still insanely in love with btw) and can't remember him every being that small!
