Ring Sling Question

Sorry for always asking so many questions about baby wearing, but it seems like the more I do it, the more I like it.  DH is going to kill me because I just keep buying different wraps/carriers.  I have a question about a ring sling. 

DS gets fussy in the evenings.  The only thing that makes him happy is to lay across my arm on his side/belly facing outward.  Is there any way I could mimic this with a ring sling?

    I'm no expert, but since you haven't gotten any other replies I'll try. 

    As far as I know there aren't any holds that would really mimic that position.  A cradle carry would get him to be laying down more horizontally than any other holds I know of, but laying on his side or belly would push his face into the sling and be super dangerous.
