I've been lurking for weeks - ever since we found out we're pregnant - and have learned a lot, but have been hesitant to post. Well, today we had our first ultrasound and saw the heartbeat! DH even teared up a little. The little bean had a heart rate of 117bpm. 2/22 still seems a long way off, but this is suddenly very real!

We haven't told anyone yet and won't til after the first tri (my mom is the only one who even knew we were trying), so I know already the community here is a going to be a Godsend for me as a first time mom!

    Congrats!  We saw our 1st hb yesterday and we don't want to tell til we get to a safer place.  I have one friend that I have told but it is so nice to come here and be able to talk about being pg.  This will be my 3rd baby.  Enjoy everyday of your pregnancy!
