Yellow Crib and Dresser... Help With Paint, Decor...

My mother in law bought me an adorable Jenny Lind crib and dresser that is painted a pastel yellow.  I love it and do not want to paint it a different color.  I am just struggling to figure out who to decorate the nursery.  I don't know what the sex of the baby is yet and even when I do I think I want to do gender neutral colors. 

Any idea or pictures would be appreciated!!

well, this is one of the more popular nurseries that comes to mind - she painted the crib yellow but aqua and red would go well with it.  We are doing our nursery in yellow and blue (not quite as cold as the aqua)...maybe you could look at fabrics at a fabric store or online to get some ideas for colors that would work well...

We have a yellow crib I can't post pics from my iPhone but our nursery has pale blue-grey walls, the yellow crib and plain white bedding. We've used a fabric with a neutral background and pops of brown, deeper blue and orange to upholster our (white) glider and to make decorative panels for the windows. We have a dark wooden daybed and changing center/bookshelf and a white bookshelf.

I wish I could post pictures because it sounds chaotic but it is very soothing. The yellows and oranges are only present in small touches throughout the room so it keeps it mellow. I love our room!

There's a cute lamb set out there called "counting sheep" or something that is yellow and so cute. Yellow goes really well with greens too.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE yellow and teal together right now. I think that you could totaly do a nursery in those colors- probably with brown as a nuetral. GL!

I'm doing a yellow and gray nursery and may add a few pops of aqua.  I think most colors (aside from pink/purple) can be considered gender neutral, so go w/what you like!
