Do you get insurance when shipping things?

I am about to place an order with Kelly's Closet.  Should I get insurance?  Shipping is free, but it is $14 with insurance.

I don't unless it's a big purchase.  When I send things to people though I always give a DC now because of lost packages.  And while the "found-lost-70-year-old-card-hidden-crevice-at-post-office" stories are sometimes cute and amusing it's not really so when someone wants their items.
