HAHA...I thought about texting you while I was at Costco (where I picked it up). I was pretty sure you were reading the series.
It's soooo good. Some people on the NBC say it takes them 100 pages or so to get into it, so if you have a hard time don't get discouraged. You'll love it though. Let us know how you like it.
I love these books! I am almost done with book 5, "The Fiery Cross". I have been reading a book and then listening to it on my ipod.

I've never heard of this series. Now my interest is piqued.
BTW - I finished "The Last Song" today. Easy read. For some reason I'm super emotional and it made me tear up.
I just finished it about a week ago. I cried too. I was a little disappointed in the ending though. It was too "perfect". Ya know?
Yes. But then again aren't most Sparks books? I figured out what was going on with the dad pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong, I like Sparks' books, but they're not that challenging.
I've started reading "Such a Pretty Fat" by Jen Lancaster. Have you ever read any of her stuff?

That was the first Sparks books I read. I haven't read anything by her yet.
Jen Lancaster has several books out. They are all memoirs of her life. She is so effing funny. Her first book was "Bitter Is the New Black". Definitely not brain food, but such a good read.

The books are so awesome, a little slow the first few chapters of the first book, but hang in there!
This may sound totally strange, but even my dad who loves historical books has read all the books!
Diagnosed with PCOS March '10 - Started 1000mg of Metformin

After 3 unsuccessful Clomid cycles, FSH+Ovidril+IUI+Progesterone=BFP!
Time to make Emilie a big sister!
May '16 2.0: Letrozole+FSH+Menopur+Ovidril+IUI+Progesterone=BFP! first beta-45.44, second beta-148
I read the first 4 before getting Outlandered out. The third book was my favorite.
It took me about 200 pages to get into the first one, but then I couldn't put it down! I became kind of obsessive about it for a while.
