We're going out for lunch today to visit with a coworker that was layed off last week.
Anyway, I measured myself the otherday because I was going to by something online and it was bad. I knew I'd put on some weight and had to switch over to some bigger jeans - I just didn't it was so out of control.
Sooo... any suggestions of what I should get? I typically get a chicken fajita, no tortilla. I try not to eat the rice or beans.
Re: healthy options for mexican?
At least I'm on the right track. I'm going to have some veggies before I go - maybe I'll be able to control myself with the chips if I'm not too hungry!
Having to watch your weight is a f*cking drag (lifelong fatkid over here).
Good on ya. But it should be fairly easy to make some tasty choices that are also healthy. And remember, guac has GOOD fats (and everything is OK in moderation!)

I LOVE tortilla soup.
I think chicken fajitas can be a healthy option as long as you don't do too much cheese and sour cream. And I'm pretty sure that black beans are healthy.
I get shrimp fajitas and don't eat the tortillas (these get passed to DH). I eat only some of the beans and little or no sour cream.
