Hi, I'm usually on the GP board on the nest with April.  She had baby Alex yesterday, her birth did not go according to plan, but from what I hear they are all doing well right now.

From what her labor buddy posted, she was at the center for about 12 hours when her cervix started swelling and was not progressing, so they had to transfer to the hospital. After quite some time there, they found that the baby wasn't dropping and heartrate was decelling, and they became concerned that the cord was wrapped around his neck preventing him from coming down so they had to do a c-section. But, she and the baby are well

oh dear, i'm so sad for her. so, so sad for her. i'm glad that she's doing well now and that the baby was born without incident. and i hope she has a healthy recovery.

please tell her that i'm thinking about her.
