529 VEST ?

Does anyone have a 529 VEST? How did you open it (Bank, investor, etc.)? I have been trying to open this for a while and I keep getting the run around at my bank so I am wondering if I can go via another anvenue. Any help would be appreciated!

    I know State Farm does 529 plans, I don't know if they have the specific VEST. A local agent would be able to tell you.

    If you want to sign up for the one in your state (looks like you're in VA), you do it directly with the state program.  We have Virgina 529 VEST accounts for both girls...you can get all the info and the application information at va529.com  There's just a few forms to fill out and then ultimately they'll mail you something to sign.  All together it takes a week or two to get up and running.  Then you can link the account to your bank account and make deposits that way...or mail in checks, whichever works for you.
