We have been married for over 6 years and together for over 8. My dh enjoys cooking and finds it relaxing plus he is an excellent cook. I just made dinner to surprise him while he was in the basement doing some work. I feel like a real wife now;)

That is nice.  My DH had to cook for me for a month when I was on bed rest.  The doctor was like, "why are you losing weight?"  Yep, DH is not a great cook :-)  He has other skills though.  He is cooking dinner tonight.  A giant porterhouse steak and baked potato with red bell peppers from the garden.

I'm jealous too!  My DH will cook when he has to but most everything he makes is very bland.  He has one great dish (salmon with orange sauce) and a few other sides (bruchetta, hummus, biscuts and bread).  Hmmm...reminds me, we haven't had his salmon in a loooong time.  lol
