Hi Lady's,

Thought I would finally join you.  My husband and I are going through the process to become licensed foster parents and have our first home study this Thursday.  If everything goes right, we should have a child in our home by the beginning of the school year.  We're also TTC.  We live in Lebanon, and I'm the Director of religious education at a local Church (which is great because it provides me with a lot of flexibility).  I'll be the first one in my group of friends to have children, so I'm really looking forward to making some new friends that are moms.

Welcome!  I also live in the Lebanon area.  My dad was in and out of foster homes in Lebanon as a child.  It takes a special person to be able to foster.  Good for you and good luck!

I'm an open book, ask anything you want.  But, we're still relatively new to all of this, so I might not be able to answer all your questions fully.

We are going thru foster training classes as well, just had our first class last week. We are in Hamilton County, so we are with Pressley Ridge. I think there are a couple of other gals doing it as well.
