Trouble TTC

Clicky poll: What is your diagnosis? SAIFW!

I'm going to put a link to this in the check-in as the QOTW.

I'm reading an IVF book that listed the various diagnoses and percentages for each and I got to wondering whether 3T reflects the national diagnosis percentages.  I suppose I could come up with them on my own from the check-in, but I'm lazy and this is easier :)

These are the diagnoses categories from a 2005 SART study so no special snowflakes here :)  You have to pick from one of the below categories!

I'll post the results of the 3T "study" in comparison with the SART study on Tuesday or Wednesday.

  • As a math person - I am curious to see if we are in the "normal" too.  Thanks Gym!

  • LGL - I think there is just a view results button though.  I would think even having people vote the "I want to see results" option would skew it because we would have a larger pool?  Granted I'm not great with math or statistics so I could be way off.

  • I had to vote both male and female.  I may have a blocked left tube and DH now has to move onto bw and possibly be referred to a urologist.

You are right Gym.  If you add another option that will change the total number polled so the % will be off on all options.

  • I checked ovulatory dysfunction but I technically do ovulate every 6 to 8 weeks, that's just a hair too infrequent to be normal.  I'm sure that's not the whole picture but no one can kind anything else wrong with me yet.

  • Technically dual factor. MFI + annovulation. The MFI is driving our treatment however. The RE thinks I would respond well to clomid and that we're young and healthy enough to try that... if it weren't for the terrible MFI numbers.
