rec your fave baby sling

I was initially looking at getting a baby bjorn, but I really don't want to shell out the $$ for that.  I was at a family reunion today and a cousin of mine had a sling that looks similar to the moby...but she said it was the ultimate baby carrier and it came from BRU over 3 years ago and it was $30...but they don't list it online, and she acted like they still carried it.  So, now I am not sure what to do.

Anyone have a moby? like it? dislike?  I am not looking to get one of those side slings or anything like that...so either the moby or something similar.

Love my Moby. I used it all the time untill DD hit the 16lb mark. Then it just seemed to sag too much, I moved on to another more structured carrier. Cant wait to use it again with DS!

I loved my moby.  DD is too heavy now for me to use it without killing my back or I would still be using it.  That thing was a lifesaver the first few months, it was the only place she was happy.

I never had a Moby but I'll be getting one whenever we have another. I liked our Bjorn and you can score a used one on CL for pretty cheap. They wash up very nicely.

I have a Moby and a Baby Bjorn.  I loved them both.  The Moby was fantastic when we were at home and I wanted to get stuff done.  I didn't like taking it out with me because of all the fabric it seemed difficult to get on quickly.  I used my baby bjorn a lot when we were running errands.  

I didn't want to shell out the money for a Baby Bjorn either so I searched ebay.  I found one that was brand new condition and got it for around $40.  I just had to compromise on color and ended up with a navy one instead of black.  For half the price that was no big deal to me!

I bought a Moby for our next LO while on vacation, so I haven't used it yet, but we have a Bjorn and I love it.  I still use it from time to time, although it's not as comfortable now that B is so big.  I found one on CL in almost perfect condition for only $20, and I found several on there when I was looking.  It's definitely worth checking out.

Love, love, LOVE the Moby.  It's great with a newborn and the first few months.  I borrowed one from a friend when Tyler was little and really wish I'd had one with DS #1.
